What's New at VHM German Shepherds

Good morning!

We are very excited to announce the pregnancy of our Zea Kateko with sire Donar Skocicka samota!  Zea's puppies should be whelped right around the 4th of July and we expect both stock (short) and plush coated puppies that are dark sable in coloring.  X-rays will be scheduled the week before whelping!

Our D2 litter - Kenzi/Donar - will be four weeks old on Wednesday and are currently being weaned using a homemade formula containing goats milk, yogurt, eggs and corn syrup.  They will be transitioning in the next day or two to an all-life-stages puppy food.  They are also learning to use their potty box to assist in potty training.

We do still have one puppy from our C2 litter (Maggie/Donar) whelped on 2/26/23.  She's a great little girl who has been socialized in many settings and around multiple people.  We also have three puppies available from our B2 litter (Karma/Havoc) that were whelped on 03/05/23.  All four puppies have been walked on leash, gone for multiple car rides, visited stores, playgrounds and parks, have been exposed to crates and are potty trained.  They will also be fully vaccinated by Wednesday of next week, making it easier to take them out in public without having to be concerned about them contracting the Parvo virus.

As for older puppies, we currently have Ari available - who is from our A2 06/06/22 litter (Kenzi/Havoc).  This boy is potty trained, walks well on leash and would be an excellent ranch dog.  He enjoys running and LOVES all of our other dogs, including puppies.  He seems to bond more quickly with female handlers, so he will automatically gravitate towards females in the home, making him a good candidate for home protection.

We also have another older puppy, Chase vom Haus Middleton, who is not listed yet on our website.  She should be coming back to us in the next week or so as the family can not keep her.  Chase is from our first Zea/Donar breeding and was whelped on 04/06/22.  Chase is a beautiful, dark sable girl who was raised with a toddler and should do well with young children.  The family says she is very patient with children, loves sticks and tennis balls and is extremely affectionate.  We currently have very limited information on Chase and are waiting for the family to respond to some questions regarding compatability with other animals, training, exposure, etc.  I have attached some photos of Chase.  If interested in Chase, please feel free to send me an email.  I will also update this information and list her on our website once I receive more information.

We will keep you updated on what's happening here at the Middleton Ranch!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
