BELLE VOM HAUS MIDDLETON - ADOPTED

Belle is a two-year-old, spayed, DM Clear German Shepherd from Czech and West German import lines (We imported 3 of her 4 grandparents from Europe and owned all four). Belle comes from several generations of health-tested, imported dogs with at least five generations of hip certifications. She is super affectionate and loyal, insanely smart, walks well on leash, has a nice "off" switch when in the home, potty trained, crate/kennel trained and has no leash/dog/people reactivity. She's lived inside the home, as well as in a kennel environment. She does great in a car and LOVES other, same-size, dogs (male/female - no same sex aggression). She's been exposed to cats but does have high prey drive so best in a home without cats/small dogs. She's approximately 65 lbs., so a bit on the smaller side. She's very athletic and has a great nose, so possibly some scent work in the future.  She's more comfortable around males and would do best in a male-only home, although she's great with me and I'm female.  She'd make an awesome companion for a single person and wouldn't leave your side. She's a wonderful, sweet girl and we want her to find her forever home where she can get all the love she deserves. 

 She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and AKC registered.  Currently living near Salem, OR but transportation can be arranged. 

VD XIA WARPECO ZVV1

Meet Xia - SOLD
VD Xia Warpeco, ZVV1 was imported by us from the Czech Republic in January 2023 to be part of our breeding program. Xia is three-years-old, AKC registered, has a-normal hips and elbows, spondy-0, is DM “Clear”, as well as Embark Clear (Scott’s Syndrome “carrier”) and has DNA on file with the AKC.
Xia is a super high-drive, moderate energy girl that would be a great sport dog. She may also be a great prospect for police/security work. She’s already received her ZVV1 title, encompassing protection, obedience and tracking, with excellent scores at only 15 months of age. She would definitely be a fun girl to work and title further, especially for someone new to the world of dog sports. She also has her “VD” show title, meaning “very good”. Although she was raised as a sport dog, I suspect she would also do well as a protection/police/security dog. She’s incredibly intelligent and focused, so there’s a ton of potential.

Xia was raised in a kennel and has not had much exposure to living in the home. That being said, I think she would transition well to living inside as an only dog.  She’s super clean and never has potty accidents in her kennel and can be a bit “lazy” at times. She’s not one to self-motivate, but she is ball crazy and will go for hours if you engage WITH her. When alone, she prefers to lay in the sun and nap. I suspect she’ll have a great “off” switch once she gets accustomed to living indoors.
Xia gets along with pretty much all dogs and is not dominant. She has no same-sex aggression and has been housed with both male and female shepherds. She has beautiful, focused obedience and insane food drive. She’s a sweet girl, but due to her high food/ball drive, I would not recommend her for homes with small children. She has not been exposed to cats.
Xia was spayed on 07/20/25 due to her previous whelping problems and will be ready to go to her new home once she is completely healed (approximately 08/03/2025).  We are incredibly bummed that we won’t be able to use Xia in our breeding program as her one and only litter has produced fabulous puppies. That being said, we want her to have a wonderful, long life as someone’s best friend or find her a home where she has a job she can excel at.  Our loss can be your gain.

Shelby has become available!

Shelby is a spayed, working line German Shepherd girl whelped on 06/06/2022. Although her family hates to see her go, they have decided to make the difficult decision to find her a new, more appropriate home. Shelby has very high prey drive, which the family is not equipped to handle, especially living in an area with abundant wildlife.

A bit about Shelby. Shelby is a higher energy/drive girl who loves to play fetch. She's friendly with other dogs and has had lots of exposure to young children, who she's very gentle with. She is potty trained and does not need potty breaks throughout the night. She knows "heel, sit, down, stay, rollover, come, wait and on-your-mark" commands. She walks very well on leash until she's distracted by a squirrel, deer, coyote, cat, etc. She is crate trained and loves her crate. She does great in a car and will wait inside without barking at anyone. Although she prefers to be with her family/pack members, she can be left alone in the home without issues and does not suffer from destructive separation anxiety issues. ABSOLUTELY NO CATS.

The family loves Shelby very much but are having a difficult time controlling her prey drive. We highly recommend working with a trainer familiar with the use of e-collars as this is the most effective training tool to address prey drive and off-leash control for safety purposes. If you have an aversion to using this tool, Shelby probably isn't the right dog for your family as she will chase anything that runs from her.
