BELLE VOM HAUS MIDDLETON - AVAILABLE

Belle's adoption fell through and she is now available again due to no fault of her own. She's an almost two-year-old German Shepherd from Czech and West German import lines. Belle's parents have been health tested and come from at least five generations of hip certifications. Belle is DM Clear per parentage and her sire was DNA tested through Embark for over 256 illnesses with an identified genetic component. Belle gets along well with other big dogs, both male and female, although she would probably do best with a male dog. No little dogs or cats as she has higher prey drive, although she has been exposed to both. Belle has done well with both male and female handlers, although she does take a little while to bond with new people. I suspect she would do best in a quiet home and/or perhaps with a larger, well-mannered male dog. She is housebroken, over her "chewing" phase and loves hanging out on her dog bed with her people close by. She's highly intelligent and has lived both in an outdoor kennel environment and inside of the house. When in the house, she has a very nice "off switch". She does great in a car (no car-sickness) and in a crate. Belle is located in Oakland, Oregon.

Belle is scheduled for her spay on 01/29/25 and will be available mid-February when she's completely healed.

ROCCO vom Haus Middleton

Meet Rocco! Rocco is an intact, stock coat, sable German Shepherd Dog from Czech and West German import lines. He is part of our C2 litter, whelped on 02/26/2023 by our now retired Maggie Mae vom Haus Middleton and our Czech import VD Donar Skocicka samota, ZVV1. Unfortunately, with a new baby in the home and some new tension between Rocco and his senior male Pomeranian brother, the family has decided to find Rocco a new home.

Rocco is located in Redding, California. He has been raised around young children and has had exposure to cats. Rocco is still an adolescent so he does have lots of energy. His current owner expects that he would do well with other dogs if introduced properly. He has basic obedience, will walk on leash and loves people, but does have a bit of leash reactivity around other dogs if walking on a trail, etc. He is crate trained, although he doesn't like it and will grumble about having to go inside.

He is almost two years old and both parents have been health tested. Rocco's mom, Maggie Mae, has OFA "Good" hips and normal elbows. We owned Maggie's father, grand-father and great-grandfather and her mother, all of whom had certified hips and lived long, healthy lives. Rocco's sire, Donar, was imported by us from the Czech Republic in 2021 and has a-normal hips/elbows. Donar also has his "very good" show title and his working title in protection, obedience and tracking. Both Maggie Mae and Donar are DM Clear, so Rocco will be DM Clear per parentage.

Looking for an active pet home that has lots of time to give this sweet boy where he can get the exercise and mental stimuli he needs through training. Rocco is discounted in order to find him a new home quickly - no breeding rights are included (limited registration), although breeding rights may be considered after all health/temperament testing has been completed per our contract and criteria for Full AKC Registration is met and presented to VHM German Shepherds. There is an additional fee for breeding rights. The current pricing is for a neuter/pet home contract.
