WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Tex competing in the annual Witmer-Tyson Trials held every year in La Honda, California. Tex is the son of Asko Von Der Lutter, a world champion working dog. He is registered with the SV (Verein Fur Deutsche Schaferhunde) and AKC (American Kennel Club). Additionally, he has earned his AD, BH and Schutzhund 1 titles prior to becoming an accomplished Police Dog in the Bay Area. While working in Law Enforcement, Tex trained in searching, tracking, protection, obedience and narcotics detection. He was an awesome partner and had a wonderful retirement!  DOB: 11/20/99  EOW: 01/29/12 - RIP - you will forever be loved and missed!

Our Retired Dogs

RETIRED - Zea Kateko (DOB: 02/25/17) was imported from the Czech Republic and has a very impressive pedigree with many famous dogs and kennels in her recent history.  She achieved her ZVV1 title at a very young age and is eager to please.  She has "a-normal" hips and a-normal elbows and is DM Clear.  Zea is clear-headed and has magnificent prey drive.  She is very social, yet always alert with a distinct, protective nature.  We are very excited to add Zea to our breeding program!  ZEA IS RETIRED AS OF 2023 and is an interictal part of our family.  Zea helps teach all of our puppies proper doggie etiquette and play behavior.   

RETIRED - Kenzi vom Haus Middleton was whelped on 04/29/17 and has a-normal hips, a-normal elbows (certified via the SV in Germany) and is DM Clear. She is from our G Uma z Holykova, IPO2 and SG Winnetou vom Ritterland, IPO3 breeding.  Kenzi has beautiful bone structure, a nice feminine head and a very calm, sound temperament. She has very strong food and prey drive, making her training easy and fun.  We can't wait to see what this amazing little girl can accomplish in her lifetime!   In January 2024, Kenzi went to go live in the same retirement home as her mama, Uma z Holykova, had and is living her best life.

RETIRED - Karma vom Haus Middleton was whelped on 11/16/17 and is a happy, playful girl.  She enjoys playing with her sisters, splashing around in water and chasing her kong.   She is from our G Uma z Holykova, IPO2 and SG Winnetou vom Ritterland, IPO3 breeding.  Karma, like her sister Kenzi, has beautiful bone structure, a nice feminine head and a very calm, sound temperament.  Karma had a-normal hips and elbows (SV) and was DM Clear.  She also has great food and prey drive.  Her sound temperament allows her to focus well and make her training a breeze.  We look forward to watching her grow and reach her goals!  ON 07/11/2023, WE LOST OUR SWEET KARMA DUE TO INTERNAL BLEEDING AFTER A ROUTINE SPAY SURGERY.  THIS WAS ONE OF THE HARDEST LOSSES OF ALL TIME.  REST IN PEACE, SWEET ANGEL.  YOU GAVE THE BEST HUGS, BABY GIRL.  

RETIRED - MAGGIE WAS SPAYED ON 10/22/24.  Maggie Mae vom Haus Middleton was whelped on 04/20/18 and is from our SG Meggy von der Fangschleuse, IPO1 and Chaos vom Haus Middleton, PPD.  She has very good hunt and food drive and is just an all around well balanced, happy dog.  Maggie is very focused, confident, loves the water, playing with her sisters and getting attention from her people.  Maggie gets along with all dogs, including females.  Maggie has OFA certified "Good" hips and "Normal" elbows and is DM Clear.  Maggie Mae will retire from our breeding program in late 2024 when she is six years old.

Havoc vom Haus Middleton was whelped on 07/26/19 and is from our Zea Kateko, ZVV1 and Chaos vom Haus Middleton, PPD.  Havoc is a dark sable, working-line German Shepherd with lots of personality.  Havoc is very playful and loving, yet he has all of the right drives that will make him a force to be reckoned with in the future.  Havoc weighs approximately 93 lbs., has a big, strong head and long, lean muscular frame.  He is very athletic and also very protective.  Havoc has a-normal hips, 0/1 elbows and is DM Clear.  Havoc carries for black and long coats.  He is a 4th generation VHM dog so we are extremely confident in what he produces in his puppies.  Havoc has all of the traits we look for in our lines.  Havoc will contribute to keeping our Tex/Asko lineage within our breeding program.

VD Donar Skočická samota, ZVV1 (07/24/19) was imported from the Czech Republic on 10/29/21.  Donar has his VD (very good) show title, his ZVV1 working title (obedience, protection, tracking), breed survey KKL1 (recommended for breeding) has 0/0 hips, 0/0 elbows, 0-spondy and is DM Clear.  Donar carries for black and long coats.  We are very excited about adding Donar to our breeding program and will make him available for stud to approved females.  Please visit our "Stud Dogs" page for more details.

Princess Sophia vom Haus Middleton (call name Sophie - 04/26/21) is one of our girls that we decided to keep for our next generation of breeding girls.  She is a beautiful, dark sable girl with lots of drive and personality.  She is AKC registered and DM Clear.  Sophie has OFA "Good" hips and "Normal" elbows.  She is also DM Clear and Embark Vet Tested for 256 known genetic illnesses.  We expect Sophie to be added to our breeding program in early 2024.  Sophie is a playful, fun and athletic girl who will carry on the lines of our Uma, Chaos and Zea for years to come.

Yara vom Haus Middleton is a puppy we kept from our "Y" litter for our future breeding program.  Yara is an extremely dark sable girl whelped on 04/06/2022 from our Czech import girl, Zea Kateko, ZVV1 and our Czech import male, Donar Skocicka samota, ZVV1.  She is a very strong willed, playful girl with excellent food and ball drives.  Yara gets along well with all dogs, females included and is the first to jump into the water trough to cool off.  Yara has her OFA "EXCELLENT" hips and normal elbows (certified a-normal via SV in Germany).  She is DM Clear and has been Embark DNA tested for over 260 illnesses known to have a genetic component.  We are very excited about what this little girl will have to offer our breeding program in 2024/2025.

VD Xia Warpeco, ZVV1 - whelped 09/20/21 - was imported from the Czech Republic in January 2023.  Xia has achieved her VD show rating (very good), as well as her ZVV1 working title (270 pts. at only 14 months old), which consists of a protection phase, an obedience phase and a tracking phase.  Xia has 0/0 hips and 0/0 elbows, is DM Clear and Spondy-0.  Xia has also been Embark DNA tested for over 250 illnesses with a known genetic component.  Xia will be added to our breeding program at the end of 2024.  Welcome to our pack, Xia!

Chase vom Haus Middleton is Yara's sister, also from our "Y" litter.  Chase is a very social, high energy dog that is full of love and affection.  She loves to chase the quad and is probably the most athletic dog we've ever owned.  She runs like a greyhound and enjoys splashing through the water.  Although we were not originally planning on keeping Chase in our program, after we got to know her confident, loving, sweet nature, we decided that we wanted to add that quality into our breeding lines.  Chase has OFA "EXCELLENT" hips and "Normal" elbows and is DM Clear per parentage.  Chase has also been Embark DNA tested for over 260 illnesses known to have a genetic component.

RETIRED - G Uma z Holykova, IPO2 was one of the most amazing dogs we ever owned.  She was the very first Czech import in our breeding program and produced the most amazing puppies.  She was the dam to our Kenzi and Karma, who did a wonderful job continuing their mother's legacy of great pups.  Uma had a-fast normal hips, a-normal elbows, was DM "Clear" and had obtained her IPO2 working title.  We sure do miss this girl, who passed away as an old lady in her retirement home in August 2022.

RETIRED - Dakota vom Haus Middleton, CGC is a female we kept from our Tex vom Erlenbusch (Sch1, Police Dog) and Bixa vom Haus Tyson.  This was a wonderful mixture of both Working and Show lines.  Dakota was a wonderful dog but due to needing c-sections, we decided to spay her and make her a pet.  Dakota lived a wonderful life in a pet home until her passing as an old lady in 2021.

RETIRED - Rayne z Diehlmov, CGC is solid black working line German Shepherd Dog from Czech and German lines.  She has OFA Good hips and Normal Elbows and is DM Clear.  Rayne has great prey and food drive and loves to chase the ball.  She's produced wonderful dogs for us, including our very own Chaos vom Haus Middleton.  Rayne was an amazing mama and, after retirement, moved to a family home where she got to help raise her human babies.  Rayne passed away New Year's Day in January 2023, at 13 1/2 years of age.  We miss you Rayne Girl. 

RETIRED - SG Meggy von der Fangschleuse, IPO1 is a Show Line German Shepherd imported from West Germany.  Meggy had amazing hunt drive and a great nose.  Meggy had a-normal hips and elbows and was DM Clear.  Meggy produced some wonderful babies, including our very own Maggie Mae vom Haus Middleton.  Meggy retired and moved to Virginia with her new family and her sister (from another mister), Dakota vom Haus Middleton.  They later returned to California when their human dad retired from the Navy.  Meggy lived a wonderful life until her passing in 2020.

RETIRED - SG Winnetou vom Ritterland, IPO3 is a working-line German Shepherd Dog imported from West Germany.  He was an incredibly strong-willed dog with intense power.  Winnetou, call name "Vinny", had a-normal hips and elbows and was DM Clear.  Vinny excelled at everything he did and even his IPO3 scores were so high that he could have competed regionally or even nationally.  He was very sweet, but also our most "hard" dog.  Due to him not doing well with our other male dogs, we ended up selling Vinny to a breeding program based out of North Dakota, where he sired more litters.  Vinny sired our beautiful girls, Kenzi and Karma.

Graceful Madelyn vom Haus Middleton (Call name Maddie/Madelyn) was whelped in our G2 litter (DOB: 01/27/24) with Maggie Mae vom Haus Middleton and Polish Import stud dog Arrko Robixson, BH, IPG1, CGC.  Maddie is a long coated German Shepherd that comes from West German and Polish import lines with several generations of certified hips and temperament testing.  Maddie is 25% working lines and her great, great, grandfather is our Tex vom Erlenbusch, AD, BH, Sch1, Police dog.  Maddie's preliminary OFA x-rays were rated as "Good" hips and "normal" elbows via the OFA.  She is also DM Clear and has been Embark DNA tested for over 270 illnesses with a known genetic component.   Graceful Madelyn vom Haus Middleton will be added to our breeding program in 2026, after she's cleared all of her final health certifications.

SG Aschenputtel vom Amur, RATI (call name Asche) is our newest addition.  Asche is a West German Show-line shepherd that was imported from Germany.  Asche has a-normal hips, a-normal elbows, is DM "Clear" and has AKC DNA.  She is also a carrier of both dominant black and the long coat gene.  Asche has her SG (Very Good) show title, as well as her title in barn hunt.  Asche has also participated in UKC shows and Fast Cat.  We are very excited about adding this girl to our family!
