BELLE VOM HAUS MIDDLETON - AVAILABLE

Belle is a two-year-old, spayed, DM Clear German Shepherd from Czech and West German import lines (We imported 3 of her 4 grandparents from Europe and owned all four). Belle comes from several generations of health-tested, imported dogs with at least five generations of hip certifications. She is super affectionate and loyal, insanely smart, walks well on leash, has a nice "off" switch when in the home, potty trained, crate/kennel trained and has no leash/dog/people reactivity. She's lived inside the home, as well as in a kennel environment. She does great in a car and LOVES other, same-size, dogs (male/female - no same sex aggression). She's been exposed to cats but does have high prey drive so best in a home without cats/small dogs. She's approximately 65 lbs., so a bit on the smaller side. She's very athletic and has a great nose, so possibly some scent work in the future.  SHE DOES NOT DO WELL WITH WOMEN. No aggression towards women. She just wants nothing to do with them and avoids them completely (except for me - she's super clingy with me). She's been exposed to children and does fine, but again, won't come near girls. Ideally, she would do best in a male-only, preferably one-person, home with German Shepherd Dog experience where she can thrive. Other same-size dogs would be fine and may help her adjust more quickly.  Behavioral medication combined with behavior modification training/positive exposure may get her to a place where she's comfortable with women. She absolutely loves me (I'm female), so it can be achieved, but it will be a journey and if you're not up for working through this phobia with her, she's not the right dog for you. She'd make an awesome companion for a single person and wouldn't leave your side. She's a wonderful, sweet girl and we want her to find her forever home where she can get all the love she deserves. 

 She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and AKC registered.  Currently living near Salem, OR but transportation can be arranged.
